Lead Fundraiser
Human First Coalition
Washington, D.C.
Human First Coalition is looking for a paid, full-time Lead Fundraiser!
At Human First Coalition, we are very proud of our work addressing the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, and we are aiming to continue this mission in greater depth. The nonprofit marketplace is rebounding from the pandemic, and we hope this will translate to HFC experiencing strong national support. HFC has a significant opportunity to help a large number of extremely vulnerable people, and we need a passionate fundraiser to contribute to our efforts. Join us.
Based in Washington D.C. and working internationally, Human First Coalition is a team of volunteers assisting American Citizens, allies, and vulnerable Afghans struggling in the wake of the Taliban’s rapid takeover of Afghanistan. Our goals include providing safe shelters to American citizens and allies who were left behind in the United States Military’s exit from Afghanistan, distributing humanitarian aid to vulnerable families left behind, and providing resources and information to ensure those who face persecution under Taliban rule are best equipped to maintain their safety.
Human First has been working on the evacuation since August 16. To date, we have successfully moved over 7,500 American citizens, legal permanent residents, special immigrant visa (SIV) holders, and Afghan citizens out of the country and facilitated transportation for thousands of others. Despite this work and the heroic efforts of other organizations, Human First still has thousands of people in our care or seeking humanitarian support.
